UNDESIGNED

Undesigned is an object whose apparent freedom has been carefully programmed. By reducing shapes and colours to a minimum, the a priori chaotic result is just an illusion, since the final design is the result of multiple tests, prototypes and trials. Despite showcasing a formal and chromatic simplified language, what seems to be an improvisation exercise actually constituted a considerable constructive challenge. The artwork explores the essential creative process, from the very first visualisation until its further translation and simplification.
